yes i can. i use a keyboard more than 10 years and i remember the position of each keys. right now i'm typing without have to look at the keyboard and my typing speed is so amazing! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ah ah ah ah ahahah run!

To be honest,i cant type a thing when i close my eyes...And definitely,causes me trouble if i have some problems with my eyes which causes me to be blind..

-the first and 2nd is when i'm used my only two fingers in both hand+speed typing ... the 3rd one are used effort of all my fingers with remembering the QWERTY keys.

If you guys want to remember the position of the keys...you guys always gonna type the keyboard everytime.That will remember the position of the keys.Theres a software that will improve your typing skills,but i dont remember the name of the sofware.

i use mirc chat program since 1997, it was 10 years with growing up with keyboard. now i can type fastly with eyes closed as a amateur typist, but not a professional one

well if it is, then the answer is no, never been to any typing course before, neither an ex clerk
maybe it's from the past 4 years of experience typing the ongoing assignments (still a student anyway)
Other than that, thanks to lots & lots of online forums (e.g putera.com, &etc.), posting comments & blogging all the way sure helps you a bit, I guess!

i would like to share with you tips how to improve your typing skill without having to look at your keyboard.

1. use old keyboard like this:



this is a keyboard with windows 95/windows nt workstation's logo why? because old keyboard is similar with typewriter which you have to press harder to type and this is my opinion if you don't agree with it, don't bother

2. wipe out characters label at every key. i did it before and it works. even though that you are still looking at the keyboard, you can't identify which letter is it. soon it can improve your typing skills because you can remember each position of the characters.

I wonder however why computer keyboard aren't listed as instruments that make a person a 'keyboardist'.

This is mine though, an old Compaq classic keyboard, heavy piece of instrument... compared to nowadays keyboard, all piece of plastics.

erase the label at every keys on your keyboard, hmmm i think this is nice suggestion to make you improve your typing skills. my opinion, you have to learn how to position your finger, and your palm. to make your typing skills improved, try to put your palm on the table, and type!
