Assalamualaikum to all you guys ...

I have a questions to discuss ..

When trying to show possession in regard to a family owned business,
would it be proper to display "Ahmads' Shop" or "Ahmad's Shop".
What is the difference between the two of them instead of apostrophe ?
It's it they are same meaning or .. ?

Can you guys explain it ?

Thanks a lot ...

ahmad's shop --> is the right one
if u write ahmads' shop, it means a shop is belong to too many ahmad.. happy.gif

for example:
friend's book --> a book is belong to one of your friend
friends' books --> books are belong to some of your friends

cuba hang tengok mc donald

mc donald's or mac donalds'

if it is a plural then it shouldn't be like this

friends's
or
mcdonalds' (which means many macdonald's own that stuffs).

so ONE s is enough. location is different.
