Hello Hilmy, I would like to invite you, all your colleagues and all members of the GDC Malaysia to the launch of our latest racing game called Grid www.racedrivergrid.com This game as you know was largely done in our Malaysian studio and the rest in our main office in the UK . This is a first Malaysian triple A level game which has been developed here. Boleh! The launch of Grid will be done on June 11th at Zouk (main room). We open the party with no entrance fees to the adult general public from 7pm to 1am (must be of legal age since the place sells booze). Arcades will be on site for the public to play the game. The game will be available for purchase at an awesome discounted price. Ralph Fulton Chief Game Designer for Grid will be in from the UK and available for interviews. Press Conference with Media access will be from 6pm to 7pm. Live DJ, booth babes and more surprises will be revealed on that day itself! (Prizes anyone?) Open to any of your suggestions/ideas you might have also to improve this big night. CodeMasters ada setup studio kat Malaysia ker? iskh..tak tahu lak aku... boleh kasi url URL untuk Malaysian Studio tak? ,
banyak ker kompeni buat games kat Malaysia ni? yang aku tahu Game Brain dan sekang ni CodeMasters lak.. tapi tu sema kompeni omputeh... kompeni yang betul betul Malaysian ada tak? -------------------- Lompat sikatak lompat , lompatlah tinggi-tinggi

FixxxxxeR : CodeMaster dah lama ada kat Msia sejak tahun lepas. Tapi kat sini sebagai art outsourcing je sebab technical die still kat UK. Tapi aku rasa diorang ada jugak carik programmer kat Msia ni, although tak tahu la utk game ke atau 3D plugin developer.
Kat Msia ni, ada 3 comp game paling besar, (Codemaster, Gamebrain & JGG Games) Codemaster is 70% foreign, 30% local owned, (aku rasa ada foreign investment rule kene buat cam ni), Gamebrain is actually local company, cumer owner die orang US & tatau sapa lagi shareholder lain. JGG dulu Phoenix Games, buat Fung Wan Online. Last year taken over by John Galt Games dari US. Yang lain-lain byk third party developer, although ada jugak beberapa yang develop IP sendiri. Boleh kater ada la lebih kurang 10-11 company yang aku tau, although tak semuanya btol2 active. Aku rasa mcm byk lagi je. LanoX : Zouk dekat Jalan Ampang, aku rasa dekat2 Saloma Bistro...tak sure. Tapi macam malas gi club. Bising + ramai orang mabuk. LOL. |
